Rehab is going good and knee is already better. Hopefully I'm back on the slopes soon! I got really good help from the company called Soleus Proteor in Helsinki! Timo Vehman made me a great Otto Bock protection for my knee and it has given me stability and security for my training during this period!

MRI is done and like we assumed there was a broken sideligament. Good news are that "only" about 1/3 of it is torn. This means that I have to take it easy and do rehab for next 2-4 weeks! Beaver Creeks race is in 3 weeks. This isn't apparently enough time to be in shape for World Cup!? So my goal is now to fix my knee and hopefully be back on races in Val d' Isere, France on 12.-13. of December!

Bad news!

Yesterday at the final training before todays World Cup here in Levi I fell and hurt my knee!
Our team doctor Eero Hyvärinen said that the sideligament is torn! Unfortunately I will miss todays home race, which is a bummer cause I was really looking forward to it! Tomorrow we will make the MRI and then we know how bad it is. Lets hope for the best!

First World Cup race is behind and for me it was a big disappointment! First part was pretty solid skiing, but then suddenly I was grinding the snow with my face! Had absolutely no chance to recover from that! I can still feel the falling in my shin but thank god I didn't break anything! 

Now I will focus for next events to come! Anything is still possible!

  After a terrible week of training in bad conditions, finally we had a nice training session here in Schladming! Was really nice get nice GS runs after a while! Also nice to see that I still know how to ski! ;)
World Cup Opening is this sunday in Sölden, Austria! See you there!

Had a good slalom session in Wittengburg last week. GS training wasn't that great though. Missed all tree days in pitztal due poor snow conditions! One more month before the first World Cup race in Sölden. Few more tests for boots and skiis and we'll be ready to race!
